Just a few FAQs ( I feel a bit pretentious doing this, but a lot of people ask these questions :)
Q. When did you start playing piano/violin?
A. I started piano first, at age 6, and I started violin a few years later. I've had a break from the violin for quite a few years (stopped having formal lessons at 14), and have just recently picked it up again. Piano is my first instrument, and I have more training on it :)
Q. What kind of piano is it?
A. A Yamaha upright U3
Q.How do you record?
A. I record audio and video separately. For audio, I use a roland edirol, for video,a digital camera. I import the audio into audacity, then use windows movie maker to sync the video and audio together. The split screen is achieved through a plug-in, rehanfx.
Q. Do you play all of the actual games?
A. Some yes, and some no. My favourites are: Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario 3 and the Legend of Zelda for NES.
Q. Do you have sheet music?
A. In a nutshell, no, I don't have sheets. I play most of this stuff by ear, either because there are no sheets/no decent sheets, and I also like putting a slightly personal spin on it. Most of the time, it's just easier too :)
Q. Do you take requests?
A. Honestly, I have so many requests, please don't expect anything. Even if I did one request every day for a year, I would not get through them. Therefore the chance of me doing your request is unfortunately rather small, BUT I do like receiving suggestions, as it makes me aware of what is out there. I will be more likely to do requests that A LOT of people ask for, or requests that I absolutely love. Please CHECK MY UPLOADS before you suggest a piece for me to do.
Q. Please will you do a tutorial?
A. This is a tricky one, as I wouldn't know who to gear it towards (beginner/intermediate/advance
Q: Will you collab with me?
A: I love doing collabs, and if you have a similar/complementary style of music to me, and a similar level of musical experience, then please feel free to contact me. If you ask to collab, it is always helpful if you have some videos on your channel that I can have a look at, as well as a decent way to record yourself (audio particularly). Please only serious collab requests.
Q What do the numbers mean after your name?
A. There have been several theories, but it has to do with a phone keypad (yes it spells a word) I'm lame.
Q. Where do you get the costumes from?
A. Some of them I make, from bits and pieces I have lying around (eg Lara Croft), and some of them I get from ebay (eg the power ranger suit).
Q. Will you marry me?
A. Probably not.
