Hello! I'm Jodie. I am a self representing artist who uses PURE, NATURAL, GENUINE sea beach glass in the creation and design of my art work. My children and husband help me find these pieces off the Southern shores of Great Lake Erie!
WHAT IS SEA BEACH GLASS??
Its those bottles, plates, and table ware items that were thrown away and made their way into the water! Yep! Before waste management, some of those items were chucked over a cliff or deliberately thrown into the water! Some may have even come right out of a sunken ship! This stuff IS old! The wave action combined with the wind and sand has been tossing this stuff around in the surf while refining it and then dropping it back off on the beaches! We recycled it by giving it a new purpose!
