Kentucky Reptile Zoo is a non-profit venom lab and educational display housing one of the largest collections of venomous reptiles in the world. Venoms from the zoo are used by researchers worldwide. KRZ has been featured on National Geographic TV , Animal Planet and PBS. The zoo also maintains one of the most complete collections of exotic antivenom available and lectures on snake venoms/envenomations worldwide.

KRZ rocks! They came to my school and taught us about some different types of snakes and talked about how they are needed it nature. It was a really cool presentation and it was really interesting! Thank you KRZ!

We're pretty sure we have the largest number of snakes in the US. Perhaps some foreign snake farms have more snakes- but it is hard to know for sure.
Any potentially deadly snake can kill you- there are no degrees of death.
