With influences ranging from Michael English to Steve Archer to Bebe Winans, Kevin has carved out a unique style all his own - Southern Gospel meets Pop with a little Black Gospel thrown in for good measure. His music has but one goal - to draw the listener closer to the creator!

Kevin is the youngest of eight children, born into a musical family that hails from Hamilton, Ontario. Being eight years younger than his closest sibling and nineteen years younger than his oldest allowed him to experience the cultural influences of two generations. As a result, Kevin's music spans the generational gap in style and appeal. Hymns and classic gospel songs, such as "I'd Rather Have Jesus" and "Had It Not Been" he performs with fresh arrangements and heartfelt passion that stems from his christian heritage. The classics flow seamlessly into contemporary selections as he introduces some new songs like the title track "True" and the cover of a pop music hit, "Broken Wings". Some original pieces, such as the song" Forgiven" (co-written by Kevin and his good friend Mark Masri) add to the distinctive sound and worshipful atmosphere. Kevin's assortment of songs, powerful voice and heart for God are the foundation for an evening of worship that you won't soon forget.

Kevin has just finished his brand new release entitled TRUE. This marks the first release on his own label, SPF RECORDS, which is distributed by UNIVERSAL. Kevin's music will now be available in the mainstream market (HMV, Walmart, Zellers etc.) as well as your local christian bookstore. The first 2 singles from this CD will hit mainstream radio by the end of March. The walls are breaking down, new doors are opening and Kevin is excited about the opportunity to start broadening his audience.

Kevin has toured with many well-known artists such as Michael English, Jonathan Martin, Avalon, and Russ Taff. He was also privileged to lead worship on a Canadian Tour with Tony Campolo. He has also become a regular part of the Gaither Homecoming Tour since 2004 and was featured in the 2 Canadian Videos recorded LIVE at the Air Canada Centre in 2005.

2007 marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Kevin's music ministry. Many of his tour dates will include a full band. The iPod is a great invention but it will never eliminate the need for "real live music". As often as possible, you will find Kevin performing with a 5 piece + band. And for dates when a full band is not in the budget...Kevin will share the stage with a piano player. "The element of live music is essential. I want to make sure that this is a consistent part of my live show. I don't think I can communicate effectively with out it anymore..."

RECOGNITION AND ACHIEVEMENTS Two nominations for male vocalist of the year by GMA Canada 2004 Religious Recording of the Year Award --for his CD Simple at the Hamilton Music Scene Awards. Inspirational Album of the Year Nomination -- for the CD Simple by GMA Canada in 2005 Kevin is featured on the GOLD SELLING (RIAA) Video, Canadian Homecoming from Bill Gaither 2005 Canadian Recording of the Year - Kevin's Trio, "Beyond The Veil" at the Hamilton Music Scene Awards Kevin is set to release a brand new CD entitled "TRUE" in Spring of 2007.
