About this user
I like Classic Rock, Funk, Jazz, R&B, some Country, and Bluegrass. I do not like Rap nor hip-hop. I like Jam bands. I feel music lives, and the 3:30 formula needs to go. A song begins, the musicians fall into the music and it plays itself out, then it starts itself over, going in a different direction. Canned spam is not really musical, it sounds to generic. Let the music play the band.

I love drum restorations. I live in a virtual desert island where vintage drums are concerned. And when they are available, they are too far out of whack to bother with most of the time. You know, if your drums are in bad shape and you want to sell them, one of two things needs to happen. You get right on the price and take your lumps, or you clean and preen, and then you get what they are worth. Either way, eventually you will get what they are worth, if you don't get it, you never will sell them. Most people don't ever figure out why ther drums don't sell. I can tell you right now. You think they are something. There are 10 million Pearl sets for sale everyday, and the older and worse condition they are in, they less they are worth. If they are incomplete, blue sparkle from the 70s, they are worth 100. No matter what you think, that's all the money, all of it, maybe they aren't even worth that. So either get right, or keep them, because they ain't worth squat, in that condition. If you want big money, you better have good stuff. Vintage does not equal rare, nor does it always equal $$$. Rogers drums from the 60s in mediocre condition? 500-700. Pearls from the 60s in excellent condition? 100-250, get over it and sell them, unless they have a very special and rare wrap on them. Period!
