As "Annie in Austin" I write and sing about our garden and my husband "Philo" makes videos of the songs and Austin events. Some of these songs are part of the copyrighted collection Roots in Austin, a horticultural musical, found at Rootsinaustin.blogspot.com

I found your blog and read that you have a YT channel so I just wanted to stop by and say hi. I saw your Holy Mole pepper pictures and they look wonderful. Currently, I'm trying to grow some inside my apartment over the winter.

Hello ESP - glad you're on YouTube and glad you liked the song about Texas in July. It seemed like such a hard year but 2011 is so much worse! I've been writing and copyrighting trees songs for years - maybe one or two will turn into videos if our trees can survive this horrible drought.
You guessed it - I do like William Shatner.... including "You'll Have Time".

I love your "Texas In July" song, Annie. Here's hoping you'll need to write a song about too much rain someday soon. :-)

Hey, Annie. I didn't recognize the screen name when I was notified you had subscribed. I was wondering who that was.
