In 2006 Just Like My Child Foundation began working on the ground in rural Uganda, reaching a community of over 600,000 of the poorest of the world's poor.
Working closely with local communities and leaders, a holistic system of development was created, designed to provide entire families, women and children with a hand up and never a hand out.
Just Like My Child's Project Justice program was created in response to egregious women's and children's rights violations. Today, over 75,000 community members have access to legal counsel and can pursue legal justice through the highest courts in the country.
Our results are gratifying, but we have only just begun there's much more to be done. We are committed to hearing the voice of change grow louder and louder!
