Justison Pulling Team was established in 2007 when David Justison, then 18, began pulling a 1994 Dodge Ram, Hillbilly Deluxe, in the Illinois Tractor Pulling Association (ITPA) 8,000 lb Pro Stock-Diesel Class. In 2008, Justison's added a second truck, "Legacy." Legacy had a successful first season finishing second in points and winning the ITPA 2008 Best Appearing Truck Award. The design and name of the truck was inspired by David's grandfather, Tom S. Justison, who founded the family farm in the late 1940's. Thomas passed away in 1999 of gastric cancer and "Legacy" has been created in his memory. The mural on the drivers side of the truck depicts the actual equipment David's Grandfather started farming with and the other side is an example of some of the equipment that the Justison's use today. In 2009, the Hillbilly Deluxe retired and the Justison's introduced Corn Fed to the ITPA. Corn Fed is a 2005 Ford body powered by a 6.7 liter Cummins motor. David, age 22, is the primary driver of this truck and responsibilities of piloting the truck are shared with his 17 year old sister Patricia as he divides his time between driving Corn Fed and his Pro Stock 6030 John Deere.
Patricia drives Legacy and was selected as "Rookie of the Year" for the 2009 pulling season in the ITPA. At the 2010 Annual ITPA Banquet, she received the first Marc Clifton Memorial Scholarship.
