Kobo Vox Color eReader Tablet - Good Beginners everyday Tablet

2,244 views 2 years ago
The Kobo Vox eReader Tablet has a 7 inch screen, built-in speaker MicroSD memory card slot, headphone jack, 800MHz CPU, 512MB of RAM and 8 GB of built in Storage. It runs on the Google Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 operating system for Tablets.

The Kobo Vox has a FFS coating on the screen for outdoor reading as well. The Kobo Vox is great at reading black and white books, color books, audio books, and color magazines.

You can also use it to watch full screen videos on Youtube, surf Facebook, Twitter, and other websites. It is also possible to install Adobe Flash Player on it to play back flash content in videos.

You can install apps and games like Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, etc from the GetJar marketplace, or sideload Apps from your MicroSD card slot, or other alternative App stores like the Amazon Android App store if you live in the US and have the Amazon App store app installed on your Vox.

The Vox also comes in a lot of cool colors like Jet Black, Bright pink, Lime Green, and Sky Blue.

The back of the Vox has a quilted back for a more comfortable hold.

I have been using the Kobo Vox for over four month, and it is a great beginners 7inch tablet for doing most tasks like reading, surfing the web, video, music, and more. It is easy to use, and inexpensive since I got it for 179.99 at a store.

I like that it only takes about 45 seconds to start up, or 2 seconds to wake from sleep, and I can start reading a eBook, going online, use an App, watching a video, or playing a game app in seconds.

The Kobo Vox also has pulse and reading life which is a social reading app which gives you reward and read comments on a book from other social readers, and share to Facebook.
