If you're stil looking for a ferro rod for your firestarting kit I'd recommend gearpods.com. They sell replacemnt rods for the exotac nanostriker for about four dollars plus s/h. Least expensive ferro rod I've seen to date. Great customer service and nice people. Hope this helps.

Hey John, I just found your channel. Just wanted to say it's refreshing being able to view some good videos with out a bunch of swearing and profanity.
