Wanted or not, I try to expose people to your music as much as possible, I think you have a lot of skill and the more exposure you get the better it could be for you. That being said if you get super busy and can no longer provide us free music, you better be handin out some avacadooos.

I haven't heard anything back from Google at all, so... I honestly have no clue. The spam thing is what's throwing me off. I get (got) messages 5 times a day from people pimping their videos, or posting comments on my videos telling people to check out their channel, and stuff like that, and I never did anything like that--I grew that channel completely organically and naturally. But... I mean... they're Google. They can do what they want.

PS: If you have any insight on securing rights to use songs for videos (I've only been able to find out how to get them for resale on, say iTunes), I'd love some advice. I have no problem with keeping things legal, I just haven't found a method for securing rights for new compositions of existing works as posted to a streaming video site. Yep. No warning or anything. No DMCA. I'm waiting for a response back from Google, but in the meantime, I'm just progressing under the assumption that I'll never get it back. Which... ya know... is kind of a bummer.

I had hired a publicist for my recent tour, and I know that he was promoting one of my recent cover videos pretty hard, and the old page says it was suspended for "Spam or Deceptive Practices", so that's the only think I can think as being the trigger. Ah well. So it goes.
