About this user

Après avoir mené à la guitare et au chant ses formations sur les routes de France (Paris, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Clermont Ferrand, Limoges...), Jim lance son projet solo en 2010, JIMM.
Multi instrumentiste (guitare, basse, piano, chant), compositeur et auteur en français, sa musique puise ses influences au début des années 90 (Nirvana, Guns N 'Roses, Therapy ?) en y associant une approche résolument moderne dans le son (Papa Roach, Alter Bridge), sans renier sa langue natale (TRUST). Le résultat, un mélange hybride de rock français/rock US, fait la part belle aux guitares à travers des riffs accrocheurs et des solos de guitares mélodiques dans la lignée de Slash et Randy Rhoads.
Fin 2011 il entre au Studio Sainte Marthe du réputé Francis Caste (Bukowski, The Arrs...), accompagné de David Hazet Viloria à la batterie (Tripod). Début janvier 2012, l'album est là, cocktail explosif de heavy rock teinté de punk, de métal et de pop, 12 titres taillés pour la scène.
Parallèlement, JIMM se consacre aussi à la composition de musique pour l'image dans un style proche de Clint Mansell, John Murphy et Brad Fiedel.
