Q&A :)

Q: What made you want to write solo music?
A: I've been playing music for about 5 years now. It's basically as long as I've been playing in a band(My American Heart). I felt I could totally be free of limits and sticking to a certain sound. It's also a way to just let out what's been going on in my head. It gives me a chance to jot down what I've been feeling, how I've felt and what I want to feel. I let go and enjoy letting listeners try and connect with what's going on in my life.

Q: What puts you in the mood to write music?
A: Everyday things. What basically is going on in my life at a certain moment in time - If it means something to me.

Q: When do you have the time to write music?
A: I live off of music. So basically - ALL the time.

Q: Whats urrr kind?
A: Filipino / American

Q: Do you have to be in love to write a love song? Sad to write a Sad song?
A: When you play something that actually means something to you is the greatest thing an artist can do. Everything I write is a true statement. I don't write fictional lyrics. It could be a fun thing to try though.

Q: What treats do you like on tour?
A: Jack Daniels, Red Wine, Vitamin Waters, BEEF JERKY!

Q: Inspiration?
A: John Mayer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, James Taylor. The real homies.

Q: When will you play my town?
A: I'll most definitely be coming to your town with my main musical outlet - My American Heart. I'm planning on doing some solo west coast stuff hopefully in September.

Q: When will you put a full length out?
A: Shooting to record this fall.
