Music and I.

I'm a Singer/Songwriter from just outside Chichester, in the English county of West Sussex.I have been writing songs for a good few years now. On my own, and in collaboration with other artists. Some of my material has been played on Internet and Terrestrial radio stations, and so far, one of my songs has been released on a "Best of A&R" compilation CD on worldwide release.

I've come to Youtube to have fun. To try and get my name out there. To put some of my own songs up. To enjoy sitting in front of a camera, singing cover versions of popular hits. To enjoy watching entertaining videos of other YTers (when I have time). Other things I haven't even thought of yet :)

I'm currently attempting to network to gain contacts throughout the industry. I'm mainly a writer. I'm being realistic here. However. If I was offered a lucrative position that required me to perform, then I would be more than willing.
Life is about enjoying every day that you can.

!!!! NEW ALBUM OUT NOW !!!!

My first independant album has finally been released, and is available to buy digitally (CD's may be available in the future).
It's called "Sight Or Sound" and has 15 tracks. 10 of those tracks are currently on Youtube (Obviously the audio quality of the purchase tracks is higher). The other 5 songs Have not yet been heard!!
It is available to buy on CDBaby, Amazon, Itunes and other digital outlets.

Do you fancy having a go at one of my original songs?

In an effort to spread my music, I am actively encouraging people. Especially on Youtube, to do covers of my own compositions.
You can download instrumental versions of some of my original songs on Youtube, by clicking on the website link at the bottom of this text. You will also find some free downloads of other original songs!!!
I would appreciate it if anyone planning to do covers of my songs, would notify me :)
One provision of this is that you give credit to me by mentioning my channel, and stating that the song was written by "Jeff Edwards". You could even post it as a response to the original. I will be favouriting all attempts at covering my songs, and they will all be included in a special playlist of covers :)
