About the JREF
The James Randi Educational Foundation was founded in 1996 to help people defend themselves from paranormal and pseudoscientific claims. The JREF offers a still-unclaimed million-dollar reward for anyone who can produce evidence of paranormal abilities under controlled conditions. Through scholarships, workshops, and innovative resources for educators, the JREF works to inspire this investigative spirit in a new generation of critical thinkers.
Who's James Randi? He's not just the founder of the JREF, he's an internationally-known magician and escape artist who has dedicated his career to investigating and demystifying paranormal and pseudoscientific claims. He was named one of the "100 Best People In The World" by Esquire Magazine, and called "a national treasure" by the great science fiction author Arthur C. Clarke.
We need your help to create a world where everyone has access to the tools of science and critical thinking, and charlatans can't get rich by deceiving people. You can make a difference by becoming a member, taking action with us to stop paranormal and pseudoscientific frauds, or joining us at the Amaz!ng Meeting, the world's premier gathering of skeptical thinkers.

I credit that show & starting to read Fortean Times regularly at about the same time with turning me from a kid who believed everything was supernatural, into somebody who believed that these things have a rational explanation.
I have become even more diehard skeptic the last decade or so, having seen my parents surround themself in nonsense like healing crystals, dowsing rods, blessed water, past lives-as usual important people, rather than peasants, psychic messages etc.
I do have one request. During one of your lectures, you mentioned your analysis of Jon Edwards and his cold reading technique which I have always found to be brilliant. If you could upload that clip, I would be very happy.
