Here's a good one from the ISS. Starting over the Gulf of Thailand we travel north over China, get a great view of the Electrically Challenged North Korea, finally arriving over the Gulf of Alaska.
I was watching my old Southern Lights Video and thought I'd dig through some more of the ISS's photo's and see what I coiuld dig up.
Obscene number of exclamation marks = Troll.
These are extremely long exposures, that's why the earth has that green hue (aside from the auroras themselves), and why you can actually see stars. Additionally, the other reason you can see stars is the fact that the sun, which is usually reflecting off the Earth's Atmosphere, is on hidden by the Earth itself in these shots.
