iHipHop Distribution was founded in 2009 in an attempt to provide artists with a new paradigm for distributing not only their music, but their image, brand, content and everything imaginable. The starting point was to rethink the music business with the premise that first and foremost, we are not a record label, but rather, distributors of culture. As a result, in its inaugural year, iHipHop Distribution and its strategic partner FrankRadio were instrumental in catapulting Wiz Khalifa to his second major label deal with Atlantic Records. Our unique partnerships with companies such as Frank151 (FrankRadio), the iHipHop Media Network & others enable us to create awareness for our partners in a very cost-effective and rapid manner. iHipHop Distribution has made it a point to focus on the youngest generation of hip-hop fans and artists. The internet has made it possible for artists to express themselves at an extremely young age, and thus has created a void in the marketplace for a company such as iHipHop Distribution to support this talent.
