At the age of just 9 years old, Hunter Gallagher took to the legendary Apollo Theatre stage in New York City. He captivated the toughest of all audiences. His raspy voice and soulful delivery immediately caught the attention of the media industries' hierarchy: Producer Rick Wake, music mogul Tommy Mottola, and performers Mark Anthony, Talia, and Cuba Gooding to mention a few. The question was, where did this all come from? Hunter's response was direct and pointed: James Brown, Otis Redding, Janis Joplin. "I saw James Brown in Atlantic City, he gave me his gold handkerchief. I tied it to my microphone stand, it will be with me forever." A sound all his own, Hunter has built a bridge that connects rock, pop, and soul. Lyrics both clever and inspirational, to quote Tommy Mottola, "Hunter is as good as it gets."
