About Hot Mess in Manhattan
With each day filled with ridiculous episodes and priceless characters, Cait Doyle should have her own sitcom. Due to a lack of funding and armed with a soaring mezzo soprano, she turned it into a cabaret. A night of off-beat tales of the city fiercely woven into pop, folk, and contemporary theatre jams. Frantic yet unflappable, Cait Doyle takes on this mess we call Manhattan any which way she can. And let's be real, there's no mess like a hot one.
Each month an original song is commissioned for the Mess based loosely on Cait's real life. Past and future songwriters for the Mess include Ryan Scott Oliver, Adam Gwon, Julianne Wick Davis, Eli Bolin, Sharon Kenny, & Joel B. New.
