Biblically, it was your and my sins that are what killed Jesus. God did not kill Jesus. Yes it was the romans and the Jewish leaders who Literally killed him, but when confronted by the Governor Pontius Pilate at Jesus' trial, Jesus said that no one takes his life, but He lays it down. Jesus gave himself to the death of the cross to fufill His mission, that only a perfect sacrifice, a sinless man, could save humanity from their sins. An to that end, Christ proclaimed on the cross, "It is finished."
Did God Kill Jesus on the cross so that the Sins of Man would be forgiven by God or
Did the Romans Kill Jesus so that the Sins of the Romans would be forgiven by God for Killing Jesus ?
