How lucky to have burrowing owls right in my own back yard. It was these little creatures that led me to purchase a camera for a hobby. Before I knew it, these characters stole my heart. I can't wait until the next batch of babies to arrive, usually late spring-early summer. It will be the third that I've witnessed. It is the little ones that are here in the videos that are the funniest and watching the parents affection and dedication is heartwarming. You Tube was also an accidental hobby. Not being too computer savy, I didn't know how to email videos to family and friends, (I still don't, any suggestions?). The large files just wouldn't go through. So I realized once I downloaded it to YouTube I could just email the link. Since then, I am suprised often by the amount of hits, well wishers, stars and comments I've been receiving. Seems I'm not alone in thinking these owls are adorable. I appreciate all your support. I'll try to keep them coming. thanks much!
