D.R.I. stands for DIRTY ROTTEN IMBECILES & have been around for 25 + years !! They were (are) one of the first bands to mix Hardcore Punk w/ Thrash Metal & coined the term "Crossover".(which was also the title of their breakthru album of 1986 !!).....I am bassist #8 out of 8 in a continuing series (YOU COULD BE NEXT !!)..I've known em' for years thru my photography & I roadied for my predecessors.... former bassists Josh Pappe(BASSIST #5) & Chumly Porter(BASSIST #7)....The band has toured the world expensively & features original members Spike Cassidy -Guitars & Kurta Brecht - Vocals along the BEST THRASH DRUMMER in the WORLD..Rob Rampy III...I WAS ALSO IN A "METAL" BAND CALLED Inhalent..(we weren't Van Halen ..We were Inhalen' !!) a power trio of supreme HEAVINESS featuring my old partner in crime Karl Casolari on drugs who I've jammed with since HIGH SCHOOL & guitarist Mikey Smario .. heavily influenced by New Orleans Pagan Metal Godz ACID BATH !!!...And lately I've been jamming with a buncha no-good/lowlife alcoholics who are literally half my friggin' AGE & have such an immature & stupid name that I refuse to even mention it here !!
