Using costume/theatre latex you can make your own mask without a complicated molding system. Aside from the latex all products can be bought at a large craft store. Uses clay as a mold form which can be recycled by soaking it in a little water until it's as soft as you like. I used less than 4oz of latex to make this mask, so depending on how thick your latex is expect to have left over supplies from this project for making further latex appliances or masks. I mention texture materials being added to latex, for this mask I mixed sand into the latex, but you could add anything -- like fake plastic ants.
