thank you very much for sharing these wonderful videos. the elegance and simplicity of the techniques you explain is breath taking - your efforts will help me to try to show my 7 year old son that mathematics can be so much more than mere "counting". learn the basics, grasp the tools and get ready to fly!!! mathematics and patterns are everywhere!
Glad2Teach, You must have a heart of gold. The single best thing you can do for any human being is teach them- ESPECIALLY math which is VITAL for all well-paying jobs. People that have good math skills will (almost) NEVER be subjected to prejudice because they are too VALUABLE to mess with (i.e., there ain't that many of 'em so as to easily replace them). Also, the SUREST way for people to rise above poverty is through education. I wish they would gather the children of poor parents and give them to you to teach. Thank you for your humanitarianism in sharing your knowledge and bless you.
Dear Phantom ... , Division is one of the 4 pillars (fundamental operations) on which the entire structure of Mathematics stands ( other 3 being offcourse Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication ). The most basic and easiest is Addition. These Easycal tricks help you master all the other operations by converting them into simple addition. Like in the video above you are simply adding single digits instead of doing complex division. Visit glad2teach website to learn more .
