Music and Lyrics by Shyaporn Theerakulstit

Composed on GarageBand 2, edited with Final Cut Pro.

Director's Note: No idea why I made this. Sorry it's so late!

In somewhat related news:

Cloverfield, hmm? I wonder...

There was a trailer for a new J.J. Abrams project (Alias, Lost, Felicity, MI: III) that seemed to be for some sort of Japanese-style kaiju/monster movie, due out 1-18-08. Perhaps J.J. is seeking to cleanse the palate of American Godzilla fans who still shudder at the 1998 debacle.

Hints in the trailer, shot reality-tv style with a hand-held video camera, include the fact that the main character is moving to Japan, there are Japanese toys in the background, sushi is being served and a Japanese curtain is part of the decor. CLEARLY, some Japanaphile action going on in the set dressing.

This would be a great and unique take on Godzilla, if they're brave enough to have given it another shot.

Photo Editing #1: The Magic of Levels [PhotoShop] freetutor... - 9,133 views - 2 years ago
Perhaps the most useful tool in Photoshop when enhancing or editing scanned photo's is the Levels tool. You can quickly enhance a photo, adding depth and richness. This works especially well with old images.

Photo Editing #2: Sepia Effects [PhotoShop] freetutor... - 11,074 views - 2 years ago
This is a simple but nice effect. You can add sepia tone or a simple hue to just about any image. It works best with black and white, in my humble opinion, but feel free to experiment!

Photo Editing #3: Soft Colorize of Black & White [PhotoShop] freetutor... - 23,198 views - 2 years ago
This is the effect you sometimes see on black and white posters of children with that slight touch of color. It's a pretty easy effect and it can be very beautiful for portraits of children or weddings.

Web Page Tutorial #01: Basic HTML freetutor... - 23,336 views - 1 year ago
This is an introduction to HTML using Notepad. While some prefer to use a WYSIWYG editor, HTML can be a great benefit if you want to modify your MySpace profile, embed video clips on your blog, etc.

A few people are asking, "Why don't we ever see your face? Are you horribly disfigured?" So this should put the theories to rest. Not horribly, no. :P

My First Vlog: Griff Headroom freetutor... - 11,162 views - 1 year ago
Okay, so it's not technically *ME* doing the VLOG, but it's close enough! I couldn't very well go in and do a standard "talk to the camera and look around to make sure nobody is watching me" VLOG. After all, I'm doing tutorials on using technology creatively! So with that all behind me -- I present to YouTube my first Vlog.

In my quest to find a good collection of free tips and tutorials in a variety of applications I finally came to a startling conclusion -- I had to build it myself.

I will be adding tutorials for Photoshop, Flash, Bryce, Rhino, Front Page, Microsoft Office, Digital Photography, Windows Movie Maker, Google, 3D (Anaglyph) Photography, My Space, HTML, CSS, etc.
About Me: I have taught a variety of subjects including: web page design, graphic design, photo editing, multimedia, 3D graphic design, office applications, keyboarding, programming, networking, hardware, digital photography, genealogy, social studies, and more. In addition to the variety of courses, my experience ranges from middle school, high school, adult school, college, and business workshops.

I love to teach and [since I am not currently in the classroom] I thought this might be a good outlet for my creativity.

I truly enjoy sparking people's interest and seeing what they can achieve. I love seeing the excitement when they realize that they can create something amazing -- something they didn't know they could do.
