If you love growing plants, want to produce a lot of plants quickly and you are interested in the science behind how plants grow come join the Home Plant Tissue Culture group on Yahoo. The group consists of beginners, professionals, research scientists all willing to offer help and share ideas in this wonderful hobby.
http://tech.groups.yahoo.co...

The background picture on this page consists of many Hosta plants that sprouted by placing a single seed in a jar. Each plant from the jar can be divided and propagated to produce more Hostas, so on and so on. From a single Hosta seed it's possible to produce 1,048,576 Hostas in 10 months. No other propagation method comes close to producing the quantity of plants in this short of time frame and it can be done in a small section of your home all year round.

Hi hardcorekarnivore,
Thank you so much. At least for me, I believe in exchanging information freely. I have learned a lot from other great YouTubers about all kinds subjects, including Carnivorous plants! This sharing of info is what makes YouTube such a good place. Theres a lot of crazy stuff on YouTube but there are some real gems if you look for them. I completed a video on Nepenthes. I still have to edit it but will upload it soon.
Thanks again

Hey Like2MilkGoats, I'm not sure plant tissue culture is the way to go for a small garden. I'd just use seeds or maybe hydroponics. You could use plant tissue culture but the time learning how to do it and expense wouldn't be worth growing veggies.

Im trying to find the best way to start plants for my vege garden. I plan to do "biointensive" so I need to start tons of plants. Its a small garden but I want to grow lots of food! any suggestions?
