I not only enjoy sleeping in a hammock I like that I can unhook one end and hook it to the other wall hook which keeps the whole thing in one corner. A shoelace around the middle of the hammock is also hooked on the wall hook and keeps everything off the floor and neat in the corner.

Crosstying could get dangerous. My preference is to toss a long rope over his back. This removes the claustrophobia factor and you can easily grab it if he starts walking off. If the horse thinks it has the option to leave, it often stays. You're doing a good job.
