Your Medical Handbook is on my "Wishlist" at Amazon. Might take me a little while to come up with the money. I'll add it to my kit when I get it. It looks like good reference material.

Dear Doc and Nurse Amy.... One of the most dangerous injuries in the field ( especially if you're out there solo ) is a broken bone. If you're out in the wild, it could easily be a death sentence. Would you both consider a video instructing how to reduce a fracture? ( Not a traumatic injury, but basic fracture. ) Can this be done by a layman in the field? I would certainly like to hear your input on this subject. Thanks - C.J.

I will be doing more videos this week, actually! I want to do some on medical preparedness like burns, flu, dental, sprains/strains, wound care and bleeding, since I am an Advanced Registered Nurse and have been focusing on this for a very long time. I will add seed saving to the list! Thanks for the suggestion, Nurse Amy

Yes, I save my seeds. The more you replant your seeds the more acclimated they will be! see www.doomandbloom.net for more information. We also have a new podcast called "The Doom and Bloom Hour" on blogtalkradio.com every Saturday night at 9pm EST, with a live chat room. Thanks, Nurse Amy

In FRESH: THE MOVIE, the tilapia pond water is pumped up to the plants. When the water returns back to the pond it is fresh water minus the nitrates. Any suggestions on just how many plants it takes to clean a certain amount of water? Thanks for all the great videos. Keep up the good work.

Very good videos...I heard you say in an interview that your general yard space is about a 1/4 acre and that you manage to plant all your container gardens in that. That's very encouraging. Do you reuse your container soil? If so do you have to recondition the soil each time. I'm assuming that because you're in Florida you probably have a longer growing season. Maybe even all year.
