Why do "people" commenting on something as harmless as a clip from a child friendly sci-fi series such as Doctor Who, have to be so rude, I always think swearing of that kind is padding for idiots who cannot think of a more intelligent way of talking!

Just searched for photonic - this is terrible. Couldnt agree with you more Aussie50, health and safety in this country (UK) has just gone ridiculous, you can barely sneeze without a risk assessment, however some proffessional American science videos on youtube are scary for thier disregard for H&S.

Problem with neutralising the solution with thiosulphate is colloidal sulphur and sulphur dioxide are produced which are also not good for the environment.

This really isnt a clever way of demonstrating this reaction, two test tubes containing ammonia and conc HCl held near each other show this effect perfectly well without risk to you or your surroundings!

What strikes me about this video is how little buses "age" compared to car designs.

You could repaint that metrobus and no-one would bat an eyelid now yet some of the old cars would raw attention!

I think the problem with Murray Gold's theme music is not that its bad, it just loses much of the mystery with all the fussy orchestral sounds and percussion in it. The theme far better suits purely electronic sounds.

I dislike this stupid show, this is bad science at ts absolute worst.

This is very nostalgic for me, I remember this from its original broadcast, its sad that the theme music featured was only used for another 3-4 months until the end of that series then it was replaced by a very percussion laden track by Chris Blackwell in the Autumn.

Superb rearrangment of Peter Howell's 1980 DW theme, you have got the bass absolutely spot on. I spent years trying to work out how it was done!

Why is this the same clip for mirage dissapers as well as appears. This is absolute rubbish ITV and who is the irritating woman with the raspy voice? . I'm not sure what is going on here but from a science background it certainly looks like some misinformation is going on.
