Silhouette Cutting Machine and Craft Tutorials
About Me:

I am a crafter and designer. I enjoy many mediums of art. Paper crafting is my favorite. I feel like paper has a life of its own.

The Silhouette SD is one of my most favorite crafting tools. I want everyone to enjoy their Silhouettes as much as I do so; I make these tutorials and also started a Silhouette users group.

The name of the group forum is Silhouette Plus. It is for Silhouette users, crafters, scrapbookers, and more. You can join our group of fun and creative people by signing up here:

Thanks for your input. I've decided to go with the cameo and I can't wait for next month to get here. I also joined the forums. I'm willing to bet that they will be a great resource for me since I'm new to a lot of the scrapbooking gadgets.

Ladyinnominate, I looked at the Cricut years ago but when I stumbled across the Silhouette I knew it was the cutting machine for me. The money I have saved over not having to buy those expensive cartridges has made crafting more affordable. I also love, love, love! the ability to auto trace and cut all of the beautiful graphics I've purchased over the years. You can also auto trace any shape you want and never spend a dime if you want to design your own cutting files. The cutting files that can be purchased from the Silhouette store are only .99 cents and they go on sale quite often. Hands down, there is no better cutting machine on the market for the price of the new Cameo. This is my honest opinion.

If you would like to learn more about the Silhouette cutting machines; I would like to invite you to join a forum I started for cutting machine users. Below is the web address:

I've wanted the Cricut for the past few years and was planning to get it this year for my birthday. Now that I see there are other options out there I'm trying to find the best option for me. Would you recommend the Silhouette over the other options out there?

Hi Papercrafter43, I did figure out how to make lattic work even easier and finally made a new video.Thank you for offering your help. When I was asked if a border could be added; I decided it was time to make a new video. I need to delete the old one. You are so kind to take the time to type all of these steps up for me. Big hug!
