The reason for this is that conventional drugs/surgery treat symptoms rather than their cause. This approach does not cure the problem, and endless treatments with chemical drugs are needed, resulting in more harm than good. Any advances in medicine, as long as they are symptomatic cover-up, will not provide any health benefit.

Western medicine will never find the cure to any disease, as it acknowledges only the physical element of a human, whereas in truth a human is both an energetic spirit and a physical body, and it is the spirit that provides the life and living functions to sustain health. Curing a disease is restoring health. Without the knowledge of the energetic living element, no amount of research will lead to a cure of a disease.

Chinese medicine studies the energetic aspects and cures disorders by enhancing innate healing. Unfortunately, acupuncture and herbs are too weak to fix modern ailments.
