PDXguitarfreak , how to pose like an 80's rocker. I love that one. I mastered that before creating the course. That posing sold a lot of cassettes.

42lynchmob, yes I have a few of the 80's cassettes stashed up in the garage. I actually brought out some of the 83' cassettes and transferred them to CD a couple of years ago. I included a bunch of the early ads, The Metal Message, and the original booklets in PDF format. That was fun.

Great hearing from you ENEMENCIO123VISION. I'm glad my stuff worked for you. I never get tired of hearing from my 80's students.

FrankRizzo419, great to have you back. If you're not a member of our forum please sign up. I enjoy chatting to people there. I think most of my current students are people that have a similar life experience to you... lost interest... put it down for awhile... then became excited playing guitar again in their 40's. I love it.

I'm one of the original 1982 students (age 15 at the time). In fact, it's probably my money order you've got framed and hanging on the wall as your first order! In my 20's I became distracted and frustrated with playing, and quit playing for almost 20 years. Now at 42, I finally became inspired enough (read "mid-life crisis") to seriously start playing again now. I am so glad to see that you're still going strong with Metal Method with heavily refined lessons, and that to this day, it is still by far the best guitar course available hands down!! I am thrilled to have you as my teacher again - thanks Doug, you're the best !!!!

Hi Doug - I just wanted to say thanks for changing my life. I bought several of the Metal Method tapes when I was a teenager back in the 80s, and within weeks my guitar playing friends were scrambling to catch up. I have some guitar covers posted on my channel here, including VH, Satriani and Ozzy/Rhoads. Oh, and the most important guitar lesson... "How to Pose Like an 80s Rocker!" LOL... those were the days.

Thanks again, and rock on!

The Speed Kills guitar was custom built for Michael. I believe it is called The Rocket.

The Simi Valley Live shows weren't edited other than choosing which of the three cameras to show. And....you're correct, I used the final applause after each performance. Other than that, what you see is what happened. There were no other audio overdubs. Michael performed some of the songs twice, once at the sound check and once at the show. Some of the performances were from the sound check. There were about a dozen people in the audience at the sound check so even though they all clapped with great enthusiasm, it still sounds like twelve people clapping.

Im not doing any hate, MAB is my favorite guitar player as a technician, but the last vids from his live show in Simi Valley you uplaoded dont look live at all. The applause at the end are all the same, and some sequence are obviously cutted/edited.

So why are you claiming this video as a "live show" ?
