(3/26/10) I was hiking on a trail today and spotted a geocache nearby. Curious, I opened the box and inside were a log book, some business cards previous hikers left behind, and oh what's this?... a brand new YouTube channel background design!

Well, since I created this channel way back in 2006, I have been using that same old channel background and orange color layout. Nearly 4 years later, this channel will finally receive it's very first ever channel redesign! Everyone else has been spicing up their pages so I finally got motivated to come up with a more or less decent design. This channel has gone green (no pun intended)! Hooray! =D

(Note: Background may not appear as it is, depending on your monitor resolution. Unfortunately, not all monitors are created equal. This channel is optimized at a screen resolution of 1600 x 900, but a few resolutions up or down from this should not be too bad.)

I've been recently getting a number of requests to document my videos, voice narrations and all. I would, but I personally feel that I do not have the right voice to successfully document the video with speech. I have tried on a few of my videos but it just does not sound right when recorded. When recorded, it sounds like I have a "monotone" voice. In other words, I sound like a robot so with this unfortunate fact in mind, I let the motion picture do the talking for me. =)

I'm just a laid back, down to earth, type of guy. I really have a strong love for Hawaii hiking! I've been hiking on the islands since 2008. While these hikes are pale in comparison to Mount Everest or traversing the Continental Divide, Hawaii offers some of the most unique hiking experiences! From arid dry landscapes to lush tropical mountain landscapes with a cascading river flowing down a 500ft waterfall while feeling the island "mana" flowing through you to towering valley walls in a gulch to terrifying 6 inch wide ridges with 3,000ft drop offs on both sides, I personally think the trails here take you to some of the most exotic places on Earth!
