Dear Mr. Savage,
Years ago I discovered your column in the Georgia Straight in Vancouver. Then, not so many years ago, I discovered your Podcast. And now, I find your You-Tube channel.
I feel that America, Canada, and the rest of planet earth is very fortunate to have an outspoken and well-learned man to talk about the still taboo subject of sex and sexual relations. You tell it like is and we are very fortunate to have you around.
Keep fighting the good fight!

Interesting. I cannot claim to agree with everything that you have said, but it is difficult to locate the state interest in caring about the sex of a couple when it doese not care about their race, ethnicty, religion, social class, language, poliical beliefs, height, weight, level of education, ability to name all the Dr. Who actors, etc. It is rare for the government to care if the couple is in love, planning on having sex or intends to have kids. I suspect that this policy issue will change within the next decade as public opinion shifts.
