Welcome. We are a collectively-run quartet, performing and recording our own compositions together for nearly a decade.

We formed Cosmologic in San Diego, California in 1999, first crafting our approach in weekly dialogue with enthusiastic audiences during a six-month engagement at the Galoka Jazz Scene in San Diego. We have continued to perform in Europe, the US, Canada and Mexico, and released our first three albums through Circumvention Music, an independent record label dedicated to cutting-edge improvised and experimental music. Our albums released through this artist-run, West Coast label have been praised by critics in many countries and languages. For our new 2008 release, Eyes in the Back of My Head, we're excited to partner with Cuneiform Records, an East Coast label renowned internationally for its creative and diverse catalog.
