A lot of the cleaning vids on the interweb are really boring, dry and crackly.
My aim is to put a smile on your face and a kernel of cleaning know-how in your mind at the same time.
People generally don't love cleaning, but they want to know the quick and easy way to do things. I'll show you.
I also am a huge proponent of safe and non-toxic cleaning, so I will be mentioning products I like, and techniques that work using very simple household items.
Stay tuned for some cleaning FYI videos that may shock and surprise you!
Feel free to send along your cleaning conundrums :-)

About Me:
FYI, Clean My Space is a cleaning company servicing the Toronto area, and we're known for our top quality service (our training is simply fabulous).
Since starting the company, I've become the cleaning go-to person for friends, family, clients, and people I meet who know what I do.
I figured it would be easier and more entertaining to make video replies to these questions, so here's the manifestation of that idea.
Check out my BLOG where I expand answers to your questions posted in the comments, and also post Q and A from the PMs I get in my inbox. http://www.cleanmyspace.ca/...

@Rosemary65100, I am definitely going to be doing a mop showdown. I've been meaning to do this video for a while. Are you subbed? If so, you'll get the video update! Thanks for the great question!

Hello Melissa! Could you compare Vileda Ultramat with Vileda Super Twist mop? In your opinion which is the best product to mop the floor? Thank you!

@freofan4, Yes - I recently did a segment on-air about how to clean your electronics. Check the segment out here, the keyboard is discussed toward the end. Good luck and let me know if it helps! Check it out (it's from my other channel, melissamaker) youtu.be/QOc6g6oafsk

@Belinda4805, Sure, I can help! Pour come rubbing alcohol on a cloth and rub the hairspray out ni a circular motion. That should work - if the tiles are literally coated in hairspray, spritz them with rubbing alcohol and water (50/50 mix) and let it sit for a couple of minuites. Then start scrubbing away with a sponge. Finish up with a cloth to remove streaks. For other readers, use only a cloth if you are doing this on a mirror! A sponge will scratch the mirror!

Hi there--I have a question about how to clean hairspray buildup from ceramic tile. I use hairspray every day in my bath and even though I clean the floor with a steam mop or Mr. Clean, there is still a sticky buildup of hairspray on the tile. Any suggestions?

@tara1979tara, Check out the hardwood floor cleaning video for good general techniques. Salt is counteracted with vinegar (sounds like chips, I know), but it does work. Laminate is very durable. My suggestion is to mist the floor that is affected lightly with white vinegar, then wipe it up quickly. That should help with the salt/film. Soap isn't as good at removing salt. If it is becoming a big issue, consider dog booties. Personally I think they look a bit silly (sorry dog people), but from a functionality standpoint the paws will always stay clean and not mess up the floors = less work for you! Thanks for asking! M

@gnadarajan, this is why I don't like chlorine bleach for cleaning; it is too risky and you can't do ANYTHING once a surface gets stained with it. For the carpet, you have to call a carpet restoration specialist (look for a local Persian rug company and they can refer you somewhere I am sure) and they have to 'stain' the carpet back to the original colour. It's expensive but it helps. Good luck!
