My name is Luc Desroches and we met several years ago during some unforgettable and awesome self defense training in Atlantic Canada (It changed my life in ways I know and that I don't know). Although I haven't had to use your techniques (thankfully), I still feel very confident and very much "remember" what you shared. I "think" I now understand why you were so different, new and never boring. You bring very powerful enthusiasm and energy behind whatever you teach (whether through fighting or language), and you change people even when they don't really know what you're doing to them, like I didn't know over 10 years ago. But NOW I think I know. MERCI BEAUCOUP! I continue to "embrace the Fray" or "embrace the NOW" in the most beautiful way, and I no longer need to eat a Habanero pepper to do it!!! haha :)

I enjoy watching Kaufman but have noticed this anti intellectual streak among the pop linguists on youtube and find it very annoying. The experts may not always be right but if you want good advice or information you're best bet is scientifically researched sources. They dismiss out-of-hand anything that's academic. Just because they learned a language a certain way doesn't make it the best way. You did a good job of beating them up. Thanks.
