About this user

I'm an old fashioned, down-to-earth, people-loving, God-fearing, extroverted, Texas country boy. I love and greatly respect older folks, and generally get along with them better than the majority of my peers. I'm unashamedly a Southern Confederate, but am as far from a redneck as they come. I love classic country, western, western swing, old time (fiddle and folk), and some classical music. I play the guitar some and love to sing. I love old movies from Hollywood's golden era, and radio programs from the same time period. I'm very conservative in my politics and religious beliefs. I believe that man is fallen and except for the grace and mercy of a holy Savior, we'd all be lost for eternity.
In my life, a share of troubles have come my way, but I am an optimist by nature, and have the opinion that many have had it far worse than I. I've also had more than my share of good breaks, for which I am extremely grateful to my Heavenly Father.
