I don't have all of the 95 races so I won't be doing a review like the 94 season. As far as NAOW, by the time 2011 comes I'll have moved on to other things and I don't know if I'll keep this YouTube channel going either. ALMS and F1(the first series I really followed) are where I'm sort of concentrating my viewing habits now.

hey man,
I know you're probably still bumming about the demise of the once great champcar series, but i did read some interesting news in my Autoweek magazine about an IRL summit that took place a few weeks ago. The conference was about the future of the series and also about new manufacturer interest in the series. According to the article Audi, GM, Fiat (Ferrari/Maserati), and maybe Porsche if i remember correctly are all considering joining the series as engine suppliers. Also all the manufacturers at the summit are pushing for a return to a turbo charged formula over the current naturally aspirated formula. The IRL still wants Firestone and Dallara as the only tire and chassis supplier for the next few years to come, but they claim there will be more engines by 2010 at the latest. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, dont give up on open wheel yet my man.....and keep the vids coming!!

When are you going to post your 95' cart season?
pilotolalo | July 15, 2008
Thanks for the info, yes I did recorded them by myself from espn, and yes I have tried different audio and video cables but nothing happens still the same problem. The video stabilizer sounds good I will have to try it.. Thanks. I will keep you posted.

I have a Panasonic ES-20 DVD Recorder. The only thing I can think of as far as the video not looking right would be Macrovision on copyrighted videos. I don't know why your copies of races would have a bad image since you basically recorded them yourself I assume. You might have to get a video stablizer to see if this will solve your problem. Also have you tried different audio/video cables to see if those are the problem. I know that might be obvious but I figure I would ask just to make sure.

Hello, how you doing? I would like to ask you about which DVD recorder do you have?

I ask you this because I have to many VHS recorded CART Races between seasons 1998 to 2003, I do have a Daewoo DVD recorder, but any time I transfer them into a DVD I dont know what happens with the signal, the DVD makes a thing such as a distorsion of the images. All the video tapes are OK just any time I use the DVD is when this problem appears..

What can you suggest to fix my issue? please!

Thanks..

Lalo.

Of all my time on youtube, this is still my favourite channel.
champcar4ever | July 01, 2008
When I said races were on DVD, I meant that races were transferred from VHS, Tivo, DVR and then onto a computer for DVD authoring or using a DVD recorder directly by fans of the series. There has never been any official race tapes/DVDs by the sanctioning body except Year in Reviews that I know of. The only series I know that offers their races on VHS/DVD is the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) from their website.

Can you get CART races on DVD or call ESPN if have it on a secret room? Because when I was a kid, my parents did not have cable to watch. But when I moved to another apartment, we had cable TV and I watched races. Can you send me some old CART races in the mail some other time like in the fall?
