@kassop : You can use T-Cut to polish - it's pretty fine (it's designed for soft paint not hard plastic) so progress won't be too fast but it will make some progress into the job.

Gloves are pretty uncommon when sanding composites (the dust just finds its way into the gloves and generally becomes more irritating that working without them). A mask would be a good idea if you do break down into the carbon when sanding. As you can see there was little dust disturbed into the ...
