I have a question. I recently purchased a 500GB WD hard drive for my macbook (aluminum unibody 13.3 inch late 2008) and, using disk utility, formatted it to Mac OS Extended (Journaled). I did a Time Machine restore on it to make it start using my computer and the restore went off with out a hitch. As the machine rebooted though, a grey error box came up stating something along the lines of "you need to restart your computer. To restart your computer hold the power button... etc.). I did that but it keeps giving me the message. I took the drive out, replaced it with the original, works fine. I put the WD drive in an enclosure and it opens up on my desktop. All of my files have been replaced on it and the drive works perfectly so it is not broken. What is wrong? Can you PLEASE help me?

Hi BeefEater, no it has not stained my MBP. The inside is made of a white soft material. I couldnt see how it would run to be honest. A nice protective sleeve in my opinion.
