Hot live performance from 'ABBA In Concert'
Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)
Half past twelve And I'm watching the late show in my flat all alone How I hate to spend the evening on my own Autumn winds Blowing outside my window as I look around the room And it makes me so depressed to see the gloom There's not a soul out there No one to hear my prayer
Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight Take me through the darkness to the break of the day
Movie stars Find the end of the rainbow, with a fortune to win It's so different from the world I'm living in Tired of T.V. I open the window and I gaze into the night But there's nothing there to see, no one in sight There's not a soul out there No one to hear my prayer
Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight Take me through the darkness to the break of the day
Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight... Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight...
There's not a soul out there No one to hear my prayer
Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight Take me through the darkness to the break of the day Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight Gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight

En fin låt på engelska här från Festfolk :)
"People Need Love" was released in June 1972, featuring guest vocals by Agnetha & Frida , who were now given much greater prominence. Stig Anderson released it as a single, credited to Björn & Benny, Agnetha & Anni-Frid. The song reached #17 in the Swedish combined single and album charts, enough to convince them they were on to something. The single also became the first record to chart for the quartet in the United States, where it peaked at #114 on the Cashbox singles chart and #117 on Record World's singles chart. Billed as Björn & Benny (with Svenska Flicka), it was released there on Playboy Records. However, according to Stig Anderson, "People Need Love" could have been a much bigger American hit, but a small label like Playboy Records did not have the distribution resources to meet the demand for the single from retailers and radio programmers. The foursome decided to record their first album together in the autumn of 1972, and sessions began on 26 September 1972. The two women shared lead vocal on "Nina, Pretty Ballerina", on this day, and the two women's voices combined in harmonies for the first time gave the foursome an idea of the qualities of their combined talents.
After the 1970 release of Andersson's and Ulvaeus' album "Lycka", two more singles credited to 'Björn & Benny' were released in Sweden, "Det kan ingen doktor hjälpa" ("No doctor can help with that") and "Tänk om jorden vore ung" ("Imagine if the Earth were young"), but clearly with more prominent vocals by Fältskog and Lyngstad - and with moderate chart success. Fältskog released her fourth album in 1971 and married Ulvaeus on 6 July 1971. Andersson, Ulvaeus, and Fältskog started performing together on a regular basis during the summer of 1971. -Wikipedia
People Need Love People need hope, people need loving People need trust from a fellow man People need love to make a good living People need faith in a helping hand
Man has always wanted a woman by his side to keep him company Women always knew that it takes a man to get matrimonial harmony Everybody knows that a man who's feeling down wants some female sympathy Gotta have love to carry on living Gotta have love 'till eternity
People need hope, people need loving People need trust from a fellow man People need love to make a good living People need faith in a helping hand

Flowers in the desert need a drop of rain like a woman needs her man If a man's in love and his woman wants the moon [ Abba Lyrics are found on www.songlyrics.com ] Then he'll it down if he can Somebody who loves you and somebody who cares Isn't that what you'd call a friend? Gotta have love to carry on living You can have peace if you understand

Classy clip from Top Club France '78 also from that show a beautiful performance... http://www.youtub...
"Knowing Me, Knowing You" was recorded in 1976 at the Metronome studio in Stockholm and released in February 1977, it had the working titles of "Ring It In" and "Number 1, Number 1 It was one of the group's most successful singles. The B-side was "Happy Hawaii", an arrangement of another ABBA song, "Why Did It Have to Be Me?", but with a different lead vocalist and lyrics. "Knowing Me, Knowing You" was one of the first ABBA songs to deal with the break-up of a relationship, though with an upbeat quality to the music. It predates the divorces of the ABBA members, as well as further break-up songs to come: "The Winner Takes It All", "One of Us" and "When All Is Said And Done". Group member Benny Andersson named "Knowing Me, Knowing You" as one of ABBA's best recordings in a 2004 interview. It was another single from the successful "Arrival" album. It hit #1 in West Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, and Mexico, while reaching the Top 3 in Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. It was also a Top 10 hit in Australia, France, New Zealand, and Norway. In the United States, it became ABBA's sixth Top 20 single, peaking at number 14 on the Hot 100, and also reached #7 on Billboard's AC chart.(Wikipedia)
No more carefree laughter Silence ever after Walking through an empty house, tears in my eyes Here is where the story ends, this is goodbye
Knowing me, knowing you (ah-haa) There is nothing we can do Knowing me, knowing you (ah-haa) We just have to face it, this time we're through (This time we're through, this time we're through This time we're through, we're really through) Breaking up is never easy, I know but I have to go (I have to go this time I have to go, this time I know) Knowing me, knowing you It's the best I can do
Mem'ries (mem'ries), good days (good days), bad days (bad days) They'll be (they'll be), with me (with me) always (always) In these old familiar rooms children would play Now there's only emptiness, nothing to say
Knowing me, knowing you (ah-haa) There is nothing we can do Knowing me, knowing you (ah-haa) We just have to face it, this time we're through (This time we're through, this time we're through This time we're through, we're really through) Breaking up is never easy, I know but I have to go (I have to go this time I have to go, this time I know) Knowing me, knowing
