I'm 21 years old, female, and I live in sunny Nor Cal.. ;D

I took piano lessons for a couple years as a kid and later forgot virtually everything I learned, though I do remember the key names. :P I can't read sheet music very well; I have to figure out each note one at a time by counting the lines and then counting it out on the keys. Very slow. Very annoying. I mostly just memorize songs I learn by ear.

I later taught myself guitar on an old, beat up classic guitar until my mother let me take lessons.. After six months I was sick of learning songs I didn't care about and went back to self-teaching using guitar tabs.
