Although I found some of your shorts funny, I still wonder why Black Americans in the media encourage stereotypes about their own culture? We need more filmmakers like Kasi Lemmons, Gina Prince-Bythewood, and Sanaa Hamri. I am graduating with a B.A. in Multimedia this spring but I am looking forward to attending graduate film school and breaking barriers. I would like to see professional Black filmmakers cross over to other genres. Not sure if Hollywood is the place for me, but I know I am very passionate about visual storytelling and I would love to make it a career.
