YOU DON'T NEED TO BE LITERATE OR KNOW THE BIBLE TO HAVE SALVATION - YOU NEED TO KNOW JESUS AND HE MUST KNOW AND APPROVE OF YOU.
IT IS A SPIRITUAL RELATIONSHIP, NOT EDUCATION.
All the many Christian churches with their different doctrines all use the same Bible to "prove" their doctrines, yet they differ in "interpretation." The reason for that being that they are NOT led by the Holy Spirit but rather by the "wisdom"of men. If they were led by the Holy Spirit they would all have the same understanding.
Jesus Christ is the FINAL AUTHORITY, and He guides His sheep through the Holy Spirit.
"My sheep LISTEN to my voice; I know them, and they follow me."John10:27
Only those who are led by the Holy Spirit really know the truth.
THE BIBLE IS THE WITNESS OF MEN - IT IS NOT THE WORD OF GOD
"all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God" Romans 8:14
DISCIPLES ARE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, NOT BY THE BIBLE.
JESUS DID NOT SEND US THE BIBLE
HE SENT HIS HOLY SPIRIT TO GUIDE US.
We will be judged by the words of Jesus, as recorded in the gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke John.
You can read the Bible BUT you MUST BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE FINAL AUTHORITY, NOT THE BIBLE. (or our interpretation of it)
