No, the black cat in my profile photo is not mine. He found me one afternoon on the streets of Gouda, Nederland, and he took an instant liking to me, as cats always do.
I cleverly named him 'Gouda Cat.'
My own kitty-cat, Hunter, King of Nieuwveen, is sleeping beside me on the sofa at this particular moment. Tynx, (Tiger/Lynx) who chose us earlier this year, is sleeping on the doormat. And we took in a lonely stray kitty a few months back, and his name is SmokeyTheWonderCat. He has his own YouTube channel page now!

The background photo is of last year's Dierendag (Animal Day) in Nieuwveen, the tiny Dutch village where our new home is. They set up this huge elaborate spread, and just let all the animals have at it. Now, this looks like my kind of party!
