A Roger Waters concert video channel
About Me:
My reason for capturing and posting these clips, at times along with footage of the venue and the city before and after the show, is primarily to provide a memory link to the night of the show for fans who cannot forget attending what many consider to be their most memorable concert.
Second in line is perhaps an attempt to show what Mark Fisher considers impossible to show: the seductive aura and overwhelming impact of the live show. It is here I must add while fans who did attend the show can, indeed, rekindle their memories of the show by watching my videos, regrettably, fans who did not attend any show of The Wall Live will never be able to get, from my poor videos, that feeling of "the space cadet glow" that others have paid dearly and sometimes travelled a huge distance of the globe to experience.
For this reason, I encourage any viewer who could possibly make it to one of the remaining shows this summer to buy a show ticket and perhaps also an airline ticket as well to share, among their 20,000 fellow companions, a taste of that lump in the throat and the inexplicable space-cadet glow as the explosion of "In the Flesh?" pulls them into that "sadomasochistic" reality of life--from which they cannot escape during some of the most bittersweet 100 minutes of showtime in their lives..All the time, the sensation is that as shockingly cruel that humanity can be, there can also be hope if individuals can just claw through the disguises in life inflicted by the power that be, and see more of its reality, however painful, for themselves.
