In lecture 5. (Marx) you mention leads to Stalin (and friends). Didn't Stalin (and friends) change history and play word games? Stalin is guilty of cheap populist Jargon and Roderic! I do not think that Stalin was a socialist by the Marxist definition. Specificly when considering his love of the Swiss and French communes. Moreover we are disregarding the world as it has become. Even the Americans have elements Socialism.

To say socialism failed and pointing to Stalin, is like to say rationalism failed and pointing to WW2.

how good it is when one thinks for others.thank you proffesor , and i hope the others will take your example of educating the world, and not makeing it so material and for the "few"...i also think that you should thank your self for such a iniciative,in a way that , how lucky you were for having such a posibiletty for advancment either if it for your personal reasons or for the world of - - as you cuote (WITCH I COULDNT HERE WELL WHO) in one of your anthropology lesons as a "GLOBAL VILLAGE"...i hope that with my results i'll defend these words with honer.
i wish you fulfilment of your dreams , whatever thay are.

Respect from the newest state of the wolrd.

Sir, I have a learning disability and find it quite difficult to follow along with most professors; to the contrary -- you deliver the most calm, organized lectures I have had the opportunity to be a part of... and I truly felt a part of your lectures. Sir, you are seriously having a positive impact and assisting many students all over the world, as I attend a Texas University! Thank you so much!
