My name's Austin Beck. I love music with passion, meaning, and in-your-f***in-face appeal. That's probably why I mostly love hard rock and metal music. I've mostly played guitar thru my musical life, starting out later in life than most, I didn't pick up a guitar til I was nearly 15 years old. As time went on I got into heavier and heavier music, and when I discovered metal with screaming vocals, I found it amazing there was an entire genre of music that has the passion that my soul contains.

I started to attempt to scream when I was 16, but I was pretty horrible. I didn't practice it much again til I was 19 years old. I didn't go public with it til age 20. Over time, I had a few people tell me I was pretty good. I started searching on YouTube and couldn't really find any "how to scream" videos. I was disappointing because I wanted to learn how to better myself. Some videos I saw were so horrible and the advice was so stupid, I researched how we make the scream sound, how voice works with our muscles as well as our brain. Sure enough, I put up a few videos on YouTube, and people loved them. They kept asking more that soon 5 videos turned into 10, 10 into 30, and now I have over 70 videos on YouTube to try to help those in need. My scream and advice may not suite everyone, but I thank EVERYONE who has kept me going strong.
