Oh thank god. I have been getting so lazy lately, finally a machine that can smoke so I don't have to! Now I just need to find me a machine that can have sex and eat for me and my life would be complete.

Of course there is no load hooked up to it, if there was the thing would not work.

@JJLatBIM I have wondering this for a long long time. So many videos of people making the latest free energy device, asking for donations, and never producing anything short of snake oil. At least this guy is not asking for money and is just feeling it out on his own.

@matanuialive2010 It basically is a worm gear on wormgear setup, just larger yet shorter flutes/teeth.

I've done this with sulfuric acid and #2 copper pipe using the electrochemical process. A new side note I learned is if you were to dip steel into the copper sulfate solution it will be lightly plated with copper. I did this to a hammer over a year ago and it is still shiny copper to this day.

Very nice, I just used the code and made some changes, works great! At first I was confused because it didn't seem like it was strobing, but of course it was. I tried it on my CPU fan and I could read the AMD sticker clearly in the middle of the fan.

@n1663r Most people don't.. For obvious reasons, I've broached like this on a bridgeport style mill by locking a boring bar in the spindle, can only really do it with soft metals like bronze or aluminum.

@MrAntonLucas Nothing is frictionless. If a particle is able to come in contact with another, it creates friction. Even photons (Light particles) create friction. So theoretically impossible.

Valve and Arduino sounds like a good combo. Im wanting to get into Arduinos now after playing gmod using wiremod. I love wiremod for gmod and love building circuits. Arduino seems like a great combo.

Was that slice of barstock cut at 15 thou or did you do any grinding? That's some pretty damned accurate cutting if you ask me.

Id love to do this at the mill I work with, but the damn thing is so quiet when moving, unless its cutting something.

Damn, that thing took some time to alarm out. Once did that with a 3/4 endmill at 1500 rpm on HRS. Accidently left out a G01 where my last movement was a G00. Needless to say, i never seen a carbide endmill explode like that.

Luckly the worse I ever done was leave out a G01 by accident with the last movement command being a G00, needless to say, i never seen a 3/4 inch carbide end-mill explode like that.

So when the title said 100k HP engine, it was talking about the Marine diesel engine that was being hauled, not the truck itself right?

@uraldneprvw When it doesnt fire, the exhaust is left open, so when the oil enters the cylinder, it gets vaporized from the heat.
